User Agreement: By accessing or using ComfyDetective ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Continued use of ComfyDetective constitutes your acceptance of these terms, including any future updates.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ComfyDetective ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ComfyDetective is a workflow analysis tool for ComfyUI. The Service allows users to analyze, compare, and edit workflow JSON files. We do not store or process the actual images generated by workflows. Analysis results are provided for informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using third-party authentication (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. Accounts are for individual use only — you may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Upload workflows containing illegal content or content that violates others' rights
Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Upload malicious code or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or scrapers to access the Service
Spam, flood, or abuse any feature of the Service
Attempt to bypass usage limits or rate limits
Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service

5. Usage Limits

We impose reasonable limits on Service usage (e.g., saved workflows per account, analysis frequency). These limits help ensure fair access for all users. Attempting to circumvent these limits may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Content Policy & Moderation

We employ automated content moderation tools designed to detect and classify potentially harmful or policy-violating content. Our system uses a tiered classification approach:

SAFE: No concerning content detected. Full analysis displayed.
EXPLICIT: Adult content indicators detected. Technical analysis available but prompts are hidden.
SUSPICIOUS: Potentially concerning content detected. Full analysis with warning displayed.
BLOCKED: Policy-violating content detected. Analysis halted, content not displayed.

Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content sexualizing minors
Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism
Content facilitating human trafficking or exploitation
Non-consensual intimate imagery
Content promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
Hate speech targeting protected characteristics

IMPORTANT: Attempting to circumvent, bypass, or defeat our content moderation systems is a serious violation of these Terms and may constitute a criminal offense under applicable law. This includes but is not limited to: obfuscating prohibited content, encoding illegal material, using character substitution or evasion techniques, or any other technical methods to evade detection.

Automated Analysis Disclaimer: Our content moderation system provides automated analysis and may make mistakes. We do not validate file safety or legality. Classification results are provided for informational purposes only. Users are responsible for verifying the appropriateness of any content they upload or use.

We reserve the right to:

Immediately terminate accounts that violate content policies
Track and log content classification events for system improvement
Preserve and retain data related to policy violations
Report suspected illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations and legal processes
Provide user information and content pursuant to valid legal requests
Restrict or block access for users with repeated violations

YOU REMAIN FULLY LEGALLY LIABLE for any content you upload, regardless of whether our moderation systems detect it or how it is classified. Our content moderation does not constitute legal review or approval of your content. Users who upload illegal content may be subject to civil liability and criminal prosecution under applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.

7. User Responsibility & Content Ownership

ComfyDetective is a neutral tool that processes user-provided content. YOU ARE SOLELY AND ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE for all JSON files, workflows, and any other content you upload, analyze, edit, save, or download through the Service. This includes:

The legality of your content
Ensuring you have the right to use and share your content
Any prompts, settings, or metadata contained within workflows
Any modifications you make using our editing tools
How you use any files downloaded or exported from the Service

ComfyDetective does not create, generate, or originate any workflow content — all content processed by the Service originates from users. We are not responsible for reviewing, verifying, or approving user content. The Service merely provides tools to analyze and modify user-provided files.

8. Intellectual Property

Your workflows remain your property. By uploading workflows, you grant us a limited license to process and store them for providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ComfyDetective, its operators, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of the Service
Any content you upload, analyze, edit, save, or download
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your requirements. Workflow analysis is provided for informational purposes and we make no guarantees about accuracy or completeness.

11. Limitation of Liability

ComfyDetective and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages related to any content you upload, analyze, edit, or download. We bear no responsibility for the nature, legality, or appropriateness of any user-provided content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any).

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms, suspected abuse or fraud, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email.
